Gorgeous,
I’m not going to sugarcoat it.
When you become highly visible, you’re a magnet for allies and critics.
According to the lovely Law of Polarity, there’s always a positive and not-so-positive aspect to any situation, right?
Gorgeous, I wish someone had shared with me what I’m going to share with you:
You’ll experience accelerated training in relationships, boundaries, and patience, and using the word ‘accelerated’ is an understatement.
Let’s start with what I call ‘the warm effect’. Your radiance will attract your ‘people’: people like you—ambitious, high-calibre women, compassionate, honest with big hearts.
They’ll love your energy, support you, and believe in you.
These women? You’re going to attract them, I guarantee it.
You’ll feel a sense of belonging, acceptance and freedom to be yourself. They’ll be your best cheerleaders, helping you grow and evolve as the best version of yourself.
Gorgeous, sisterhood is real.
When women feel safe and free to be themselves, connecting is effortless; it’s our magic wand to create trustworthy and lasting relationships.
But having a few moves to recognise the ‘cold effect’ is essential to move aside the critics.
‘The cold effect’. What is it?
You’ll attract people who don’t belong in your world, truly. They’ll be your harshest critics, putting you down, and trying to take advantage of you. In a nutshell, they’ll be the takers, taking you for granted and never giving in return.
These are the people you must not allow in your world.
From my experience, your confidence will trigger and mirror people’s insecurities or unhealthy patterns. There’s no need to fear; the key is to be AWARE.
This time, turn your boundaries from porous to non-negotiable to be clear, kind and firm.
So, let’s look at these wise moves now:
Protect your energy: You didn’t work on yourself to be affected by people prone to negativity and drama. Gorgeous, protect all the hard work you’ve put into developing a positive mindset and elevating your personal growth. So, be assertive. Your energy is your currency.
Lead from the start: Be crystal clear about the purpose of a connection, whether it’s for inspiration, guidance, mentorship or collaboration. Also, set time expectations; time is a precious currency for everyone. The more you’re clear and decisive, the more people will respect your time.
Forgive yourself: Forgive yourself for your mistakes, mishaps and what you didn’t do. Why? Because you did with the tools that you had at the moment. You are neither omniscient nor omnipotent. You’re an imperfect human being evolving to be the best version of yourself. When you start forgiving yourself, you open the door to forgiving others.
Gorgeous, I believe, balance is only possible when you know who you are and what you’re meant to be in this world.
It’s a journey I started 5 years ago and I still love the ride!
With love,
Gaëlle
