Gorgeous,
Today is the new moon in Cancer, and let me tell you something: I used to dislike this watery-emotional energy because I found it too much, but today this is not the case.
I’m home, back to my roots, and I find this energy calming, soothing and welcoming.
There’s an ‘enough feeling’ about the over-masculine energy in our world, and rebalancing it with feminine energy is good for our souls.
Let me add this detail: I’ve nothing against masculine energy, but taking a break from ‘doing to being’, I’m convinced, is what we need.
You know why? Because I believe we all need some good motherly, feminine energy to be safe swimming in our emotions —being at sea without drifting away from the shore.
We’re pampered with a capital P with this Cancerian-mother energy.
Why? Because it’s the day:
. For a good and well-deserved emotional cosmic reset
. To set intentions with a little oomph thanks to the salsa-mambo dance that Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Aries are doing together, happening on the 19th July – more on that in a few minutes.
. To give birth to something new with Miss Creativity: an idea, a project, a business, a book, or the desire to have a baby (everything is possible after all).
. Being vulnerable and learning to be comfortable with it to develop emotional safety
. Ask for help and stop playing the lone wolf
. Set strong boundaries with everyone
. Give a call to your girlfriend that you haven’t spoken with for ages — the one you love to the moon and back
. Write a gratitude list until there’s no space on the blank page
. Redefine self-care as being present, nourished and being more human
And the cherry on the cake?
As I shared a little earlier, setting intentions, particularly for this new Moon, is unique because 5 days later, 4 planets meet at the exact same degree of the zodiac, creating a formation called the ‘Barbault Basket’.
What does it mean? The intentions you will set will be amplified and supported by Jupiter, the planet of expansion; Uranus for breakthrough; Neptune for vision, and Pluto for transformation.
So, gorgeous, don’t be shy; ask for what you want. Ask for how you want to feel, and trust that you’ll be supported.
With love
Gaëlle
P.S. Gorgeous, emotional safety isn’t a “soft skill”.

When your inner world feels safe, senior management doesn’t just recognise what you’ve already achieved—they begin to see that you’re ready for the next-level position that you’ve been dreaming of.
